About Melanie Garcia
Melanie was born and raised in Miami and has always been passionate about the luxury industry.
She received her Bachelors of Business Administration from Florida International University with a major in marketing. Following her lifelong passion, she went on to receive her Master of Arts in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management from the world-renowned Istituto Marangoni.
Throughout her career, Melanie has worked across some of the most influential luxury communications agencies, including Gnazzo Group and Tara, INK in Miami. Most recently she worked at PURPLE in New York City representing some of the largest beauty brands today including: Sol de Janeiro, Balmain Hair, Noble Panacea, DERMAFLASH, Carriere Freres, and KEVIN.MURPHY.
During her time at PURPLE, Melanie built relationships with leading beauty media while executing creative communications strategies including founder profiling, brand storytelling, organic influencer outreach, as well as spearheading events of all sizes.
Melanie was inspired to launch MGPR and bring her experience in the beauty industry to Miami, connecting local businesses to national media and influential content creators.
